The tea ☕
- After the Supreme Court weakened the Voting Rights Act in Louisiana v. Callais, Alabama redrew this district in May 2026. The Black voting-age share fell from about 49 percent to 40 percent. A federal panel blocked the map, but the Supreme Court let it stand.
- Figures accepted three debate invitations and said he would debate 'anytime, any place.' Marques refused, saying he would not give the incumbent a platform. No debate happened.
- Marques's camp wants Figures to return money from a Pelosi-linked PAC. Figures hit Marques over his vote for the Rebuild Alabama gas tax.
