Lauren Boebert has been in Congress since 2021. She first won in the 3rd District on the western side of the state. After a very close win in 2022, she moved to the 4th District in 2023 and won there in 2024 by 12 points.

Eileen LaubacherD

Eileen Laubacher served more than 30 years in the Navy and retired as a rear admiral. She worked on the National Security Council under President Biden. This is her first run for office, and she used to be a Republican.

The tea ☕

  • In September a PAC called American Muckrakers filed a House ethics complaint against Boebert with claims about her conduct with staffers. Boebert called it utterly false, the named staffers denied it, and a judge gave her a temporary protection order against the man who filed it.
  • President Trump said in June he would love to see a primary challenger against Boebert after she campaigned for Rep. Thomas Massie. It was too late to file, so she went to the general election with no primary opponent.
  • Laubacher switched from Republican to unaffiliated to Democrat before running. At a debate she faced pointed questions about the party switches and her move within the district, which she said was only 10 miles.
