The tea ☕
- Crank and the national Republican campaign arm call Killin a carpetbagger and a D.C. insider because she kept a home near Washington after moving back to the district last year. Her campaign says Crank is lying about her.
- Outside groups have spent nearly $8 million here, about $5.8 million from Republican groups and $2.1 million from Democratic ones. This is the first time the district has ever seen big outside money in a general election.
- Crank's campaign says its own polls show him winning but will not release them. The only public polls come from Democratic-aligned pollsters and show a tie or a small Killin lead.
